It isn’t everyday that I update this blog but I am upset about the latest news regarding MAD Magazine. As a child Cracked and MAD were important aspects of my foundational humor. Also for the past few years I have been a subscriber to MAD and enjoyed their original material. I am sad that future generations will not know the pleasures of MAD nor will they understand the importance that satire plays in our world at large. To those at MAD that have kept the lights burning I salute you but clearly this is another example of all good things must come to an end…
